Acekard 2i firmware fix for 3DS v3.0 and DSi 1.4.3

This update fix the compatibility issue with the new 3DS firmware 3.0 released by Nintendo on December 7th.

You must use AKAIO 1.8.6 or newer to use your newly updated Acekard 2i

After the update, the Acekard 2i will have the title/icon of “the Chronicle of Narnia” in the menu, as shown bellow :

Official change log :

3DS Firmware 2.2.0-4 released

Nintendo has released a new firmware for the 3DS : 2.2.0-4

This update blocks ALL current flashcart, including (but not limited to) :

Acekard 2i
M3i Zero
DSTwo
R4i 3DS
R4i Gold

Those of you who use a flashcart should wait until an update for it is published before updating your console.

Acekard 2i runs on 3DS

Team Acekard released a video showing an Acekard 2i running on the 3DS

It use a new firmware update (not publicly released yet) and runs in “DS Mode” so it can only plays DS games and not 3DS games.

It’s a good news for everybody. We’ll release the patch after a full test.
